Tokyo Tower.......

tokyo tower was last night's agenda. we didn't leave the house until late in the afternoon. i thought there was no point of doing so since it was late and we are quite far from tokyo_ well tokyo is huge. from our house to our distination, is quite far. well.....i wouldn't say we're far, just a bit and since the train in japan literally and honestly can take you everywhere in no time, despite of the mass crush of people. it was still day light when we got to tokyo, but i was already taking pictures even at the train station, and so i couldn't wait till we got there..... so wanted to see that they had.

i was quite taken of the mini shrine they had, adjacent to the tower. such a beautiful place and i'm sure i haven't seen half of Japan's magnificient shrines or temples. they were trees planted by a couple of American presidents. never seen anything like it before. though i have to admit, there was an unusual spritual activity surrounding that place. yea... yea... i'm a psychic! LOL really now, i'm not kidding. you really have to be a dumb butt of not saying so. even I felt it and i'm not intellectually all that.

our tour guide Miss Venus was fun.

and she insisted in paying for our tickets, and got the kids sugar (just what they needed, right?). we only went at the midsection of the tower. 12 (?) years ago, i got to see the tower and i don't remember the place being the way it was, this time, it seemed crowded and un-organized. quite disappointing if you ask me, but then again, who's wondering?

and we wrapped the night with soba, and Mike being un -chopsticks. quick look of the predetrian, covered with stampede of people.

and did you know that Tokyo Tower is taller than Eiffel Tower and lighter than Eiffel Tower?

and yea.. Gabby's fan club. i'm not sure what really fascinates them, but it was clear that the Japanese seemed so enamored by her. they kept telling us that, they have never seen a walking baby at 8 months, they said their babies doesn't walk even when they are already a year old. and because they said it doesn't help when babies are bit heavy. they said that Gabby has the roundest biggest eyes. they said she's just like a living walking doll and she's so tiny. which amazes me because some people i know back home says Gabby is big. you go figure!

hope to post some more before we go home but i doubt it. our internet connection is wacky!

just got back from watching a lame movie_ and i feel bad about it because i picked the movie! i would have pick "CLICK" since Steve told me that he hasn't seen it ( well that was he said a while ago anyway) but i thought Joe and the kids wouldn't wanna see it again. AND i was gonna pick "SUPERMAN" but Steve already have seen it and i didn't think he would want to watch it again. however, as it turned out, judging from movie critique, those guys would have watch either of the two than to watch the House Catastrophe a.k.a. Monster House. but truly at the end, it made me smile because it is always nice to just hang out with your friends, you know? i 've lost count on how many times we've gone to watch a movie and the movie turned out to be just really dumb, this reminded me when we went to watch Master of Disguise with The Melvin's. i particularly didn't like it and worse?.... we had to sit at the very very very very first row_ as in MY FLAT NOSE COULD TOUCH THE SCREEN_ which is a big NO NO for me, because i get motion sickness, off the movie. do i make sense here? but then at end, it's never about the movie really anymore, it's always about the people_ who are special to you that really mattered. the laughing and the mocking that goes on during the movie. so, everything's cool. life's good. i enjoyed it nevertheless, you see?
